Tianlong Poker is one of the flagship poker rooms of the GG Network. Tianlong, which in Chinese means “Dragon,” was founded in 2015 and had grown to become one of the leading providers of online gaming services in all of Asia. They currently have offices in South Africa and several other locations around the globe and are fully licensed by First Cagayan and Gaming Curacao.
The site features some of the fishiest cash tables on any Asian poker site I’ve personally reviewed thus far. They are also one of the most popular online poker sites in Asia right now. Tianlong Poker – also referred to on their website as “Dragon Poker” – has a great tournament schedule for its customers, including Loyalty Level programs that allow for players to earn added bonuses just for playing poker on the site.
25% WEEKLY Rakeback Bonus at Tianlong Poker
New players that sign up for an account at Tianlong Poker will be eligible for 25% weekly rakeback – this makes up for the fact the site does not give a traditional signup bonus like the poker sites.
In order to CLAIM your 25% WEEKLY rakeback you must complete these requirements:
>> Provide YOUR email, game account & time and how much you want to deposit.
This bonus has a “non-cumulative limit” attached, which means you can deposit a very reasonable amount of money and Tianlong will match that amount up to 180%. You must follow specific instructions to claim the bonus, which you can find below.
** Your 180% bonus eligibility period is 3 months. In essence, once your bonus amount is approved by support you will then have 90 full days to complete any and all bonus requirements provided by Tianlong Poker.
Currently, the site incorporates several software providers for its gaming services, including Microgaming, Playtech, WinCake and the GGNet systems platform. They use multiple providers because Tianlong also operates a very popular online casino, whose table games and online slots are powered by Microgaming and Playtech.
The online poker platform used by its players is operated by GGNet and WinCake. Both providers have only the highest standards of protection and encryption for its users, with each contributing to the amazing graphics and playability you will get when you load up one of their tables.
The Tianlong Poker software is quite smooth, especially on mobile devices such as your iPhone or Android-powered smartphone. You can easily play on a tablet as well and play ANYWHERE with a wifi or LTE-connection. It’s that simple at Tianlong! Check out the images below to get a look at how the software looks on your mobile.
HUD Use on Tianlong
Unfortunately, as of the writing of this review, there are no personal HUD’s allowed on any of the poker options on Tianlong. Popular programs like PokerTracker or any other similar type of software have never been allowed on Tianlong for as long as I have been playing on the site, with management saying there are no immediate plans to change that policy.
Tianlong Poker Cash Games and Tournaments
The cash games and tournament action are quite solid at Tianlong Poker, although it sticks to a more traditional lineup of poker games. By “traditional,” I mean the site ONLY offers Texas Holdem and Omaha, which are of course the most popular poker variations in the world anyways. Tianlong keeps it very simple and it allows players to hone in on just these 2 particular games instead of having to jump around to different games like 5-Card Draw, Stud, Razz and more.
Real Money Cash Games
New and current players alike will notice a nice amount of tables located here, with limits starting as little as $.10/$.25 to as high as $5/$10. These limits are offered to players looking to find cash games for Texas Holdem and Omaha.
The cash tables are also the most fishy around the world today, especially for those playing from Asia. It’s not uncommon to see showdowns for big money with players showing down with 2nd pair or Ace-high – the action is THAT juicy here at Tianlong.
Tournaments and Sit and Go’s
Tournaments are normally running every day at Tianlong Poker, with larger guarantees running on Sunday’s, which is of course when peak traffic is normally at the site. Their tournaments are mainly for Texas Holdem enthusiasts, with a few Omaha tournaments sprinkled in for good measure. There are also freerolls held weekly where players can earn custom avatars and a ticket into one of their larger tourneys.
The aforementioned Sunday tournament schedule features 4 to 5 tournaments with guaranteed prize pools of $10,000 each. Tournament schedules during the week feature MTT’s with guarantees ranging from $2,000 to $5,000, along with satellites running daily to these larger tournaments. Unfortunately, sit and go action is not very popular as of yet at Tianlong, but they are working to improve on that.
Banking Options at Tianlong
Tianlong Poker does offer a multitude of deposit options for players, especially those from mainland China, Korea and a host of other Asian countries. Depending on where you are from, these methods will vary, but if you contact customer support at [email protected] or contact LIVE SUPPORT on Facebook through their FB page at www.facebook.com/asia.tianlong.
How to Deposit
The most popular methods to deposit are via Skrill/Neteller, UnionPay and WeChat. However, as I mentioned before, they have a variety of methods, which I’ve illustrated with the screenshots below from the actual Tianlong website.
How to Withdraw
To facilitate a withdrawal you can submit a request from the poker site itself or talk to a representative by sending an email or live chat request to their Facebook page.
Unfortunately, while Tianlong Poker does accept players from most countries throughout Asia, Europe and North America, they do have restrictions on certain countries. This is a quick ‘restricted’ list for players reading our review who may reside in one of these countries:
- American Samoa
- Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba
- Marshall Islands
- Norfolk Island
- Saint Martin (French part)
- United Arab Emirates
