World Series of Poker Online

Summary:

  • The single bracelet event has a buy-in of $1k and a guarantee of $150k
  • Played as Mystery Bounty and will take place on October 15
  • Each state will host a Mystery Bounty Series prior to the bracelet event

Players in Michigan and Pennsylvania will get the chance to compete for a World Series of Poker (WSOP) online bracelet this year, the operator has confirmed. However, there will only be one event for each state and it will take place in October.

Many players in both states will be disappointed to know that only one bracelet is up for grabs, but others will remain grateful for the chance. Overall, the WSOP is awarding 34 bracelets across its US markets, 33 of which are on offer in New Jersey and Nevada which share the same player pool.

Bracelet Event on WSOP MI and WSOP PA

WSOP MI and WSOP PA will each host an online bracelet event on October 15. The tournament, which costs $1,000 to enter and features a $150,000 guarantee, will be played in Mystery Bounty format, with players set to compete for a maximum bounty of $21,000.

Each player sits down with 30,000 in starting stack played to 15-minute levels. The tournament allows up to three re-entries during the first 270 minutes. The Mystery Bounty element begins at the start of level 18.

The $1,000 buy-in, $150K GTD Mystery Bounty Championship will be the only bracelet event to be hosted by WSOP.com in each state, compared to the 33 bracelets being offered to players in New Jersey and Nevada.

The WSOP has yet to merge its Michigan players with the NJ-NV pool even when the state is already part of the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA). Pennsylvania meanwhile remains a ring-fenced market.

In Ontario, another segregated market where WSOP.com operates, players are competing for seven online bracelets.

WSOP MI & WSOP PA to Host Mystery Bounty Series

While only one online bracelet is up for grabs for players in the Wolverine State and the Keystone State, they will be competing for extra prizes in the lead-up to the Mystery Bounty Championship bracelet event as WSOP.com will be hosting a Mystery Bounty Series from September 24 to October 1

The schedule includes 17 tournaments, with at least two tournaments scheduled for each day. Players can enter the series for as low as $30, with the highest buy-in set at $1,000. More than $200,000 in combined guarantees will be won throughout the series in both states. The schedule is headlined by the $215 buy-in, $40,000 GTD Main Event which takes place on October 1.
